Hi, I’m Caroline Leung.  A Registered Dietitian (RD) with a background in Physician Assistant (PA) from Queens, NYC. 

After nearly a decade as a dietitian, I incorporate my nutrition knowledge from my training along with an individualized, non-restrictive approach- to help you succeed in reaching your health and wellness goals. 

Here’s my story.

Many of us have felt the pressure to lose weight and be thinner.  It’s ok to want to lose weight, but many of us have tried restrictive diets that don’t work, only to gain the weight back and feel crummier.   I was susceptible to this draining cycle too. As a teenager – following fad diets, obsessing over the next meal, counting calories, logging food, messing up the diet - feeling guilt/shame, then promising start again fresh on Monday – it was exhausting!  

Then I decided to ditch the diets (that never worked in the first place)- once and for all. Finding that balance where I stopped restricting, being able to eat my favorite foods again without guilt, and back at my natural weight without being consumed with thoughts about my next meal– I finally felt like myself again. And I wish I had someone to support and guide me through that process to give me confidence when I wavered.

I understand how regimented and restrictive diets can feel frustrating and exhausting, preventing you from you enjoying your life.

My approach to nutrition, health, and wellness is working together to undo food rules and restrictions and develop a realistic and sustainable way of eating to improve your mental and physical health.  I will guide and support you in your journey towards food freedom so you can start feeling like your best self again.
